We have closed down our 2G service from 1st of March 2021. This means we’ll have more room to deliver faster data services and improved call quality using 3G and 4G technology. you’ll need a 3G/4G enabled device to continue getting great deals and service with Lycamobile.
What to do
If you already have a 3G/4G capable device, you don’t need to do anything. If you have an older 2G device, you may be able to enable 3G via your Settings. If you check your settings and there’s no option to enable 3G, you’ll need to switch to a 3G/4G capable device. Most devices made in 2001 or later should be 3G-capable.
